Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller tour "Under the Influence of Music"

Wiz Khalifa and rising rap star Mac Miller will join forces this summer for the "Under the Influence of Music Tour."
The duo just announced a nine-date North American run that kicks off July 26 at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH. The trek will take them to Canada and cities in the northeast, including amphitheaters in the Chicago, Boston and New York City areas. Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Chevy Woods will provide opening support. According to a press release, more dates and special guests are expected to be added to the itinerary.
Tickets go on sale April 20 to the general public. Facebook fans of Live Nation can access tickets to the shows on April 19 via the website, and Citi card members can buy tickets as early as April 17. Visit the company's Private Pass Program website for more information.
Khalifa's most recent solo studio effort, 2011's "Rolling Papers," peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The third track from the album, "Black and Yellow," has sold over 3.6 million copies. Also in 2011, the artist conspired with pal Snoop Dogg on the movie soundtrack for their comedy "Mac & Devin Go to High School." The Cheech & Chong-inspired film spawned the hit single "Young, Wild, and Free," which has sold more than 2.5 million copies.
Mac Miller, a Pittsburgh native who finds inspiration in the music of Big L, Lauryn Hill and OutKast, is currently touring college campuses across the nation in support of his debut album "Blue Slide Park," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and "On and On And Beyond," which peaked at No. 55 on the Billboard 200. Both were released through Rostrum Records in 2011.
