Jack White fills out outing, kickoff U.S. show to be streamed live
Jack White has added more U.S. stops to his international trek in support of his impending new studio effort, "Blunderbuss," but fans everywhere will be able to catch a show online.
The former White Stripes frontman will now kick off his tour with an April 22 show in Paris, France, followed by gigs in London (4/23) and New York City (4/27) and Los Angeles (4/30). The new performances bookend the April 24 release of his new album, "Blunderbuss," which he will continue to support with previously-announced North American and European legs beginning in mid-May.
The April 27 performance in New York City will mark the kickoff of the third annual "American Express Unstaged" series, which will be live-streaming via YouTube and VEVO. Gary Oldman will direct.
Along with the April shows, White also recently confirmed a headlining spot at this year's Lollapalooza festival Aug. 3-5 in Chicago.
White's self-produced solo debut album, "Blunderbuss," which he recorded at his Third Man studio in Nashville, hits retailers April 24 via his own Third Man Records.
Fans can pre-order the album now and receive an immediate download of the lead single, "Sixteen Saltines." A video for the song, directed by AG Rojas, is currently streaming at White's website.
