The first part of a newly expanded Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival kicked off without a hitch yesterday (4/13) at the festival's longtime home base of Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA, near Palm Springs.
Day 1 of the sold out event featured such names as Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Pulp, Mazzy Star, Neon Indian, Swedish House Mafia, M83, James, Jimmy Cliff & Tim Armstrong, Girls, and M. Ward, just to name a few.
