Bruce Springsteen adds dates to "Wrecking Ball" run

A month into their explosive world tour behind the new album "Wrecking Ball," Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have tacked more East Coast shows onto the summer itinerary.
The Boss and crew will continue the North American leg tonight (4/13) in Buffalo, NY. Since last check, another 10 performances have been added to the end of the schedule, beginning with an Aug. 18 show in Boston, MA, and running through a three-night stand Sept. 19, 21-22 in East Rutherford, NJ.
Tickets for select markets go on sale beginning April 20. More information is available at Springsteen's website.
Seven dates remain before the rock band heads to Europe for a 27-city stretch that begins May 13 in Seville, Spain.
Springsteen and his E Street Band, comprised of Roy Bittan (piano, synthesizer), Nils Lofgren (guitar, vocals), Patti Scialfa (guitar, vocals), Garry Tallent (bass guitar), Stevie Van Zandt (guitar, vocals), Max Weinberg (drums) and Jake Clemons (saxophone), the nephew of the late Clarence Clemons, has been joined by Soozie Tyrell on violin, guitar and vocals, and Charlie Giordano on keyboards for the roadwork.
Springsteen unveiled his 17th studio effort, "Wrecking Ball," March 5, just two weeks before he delivered the keynote address at the 26th annual South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX. Those who missed the 50-minute speech can watch it now via NPR.
The Columbia Records release, Springsteen's first since 2009's "Working on a Dream," topped The Billboard 200, as well as the magazine's Rock Albums, Digital Albums and Tastemaker Albums charts. The set also hit No. 1 in 14 international markets.
