The Audition hits the road with Eve 6
With a newly released, self-produced six-song EP on the shelves, Chicago-based pop-rock outfit The Audition is heading out on a national tour with alt-rockers Eve 6.
Leg one of the trek begins Apr. 15 in Colorado Springs, CO, followed by a cluster of West Coast shows before heading east for eleven dates kicking off May 7 at the Gramercy Theater in New York City.
A previously announced tour with Marianas Trench has been postponed, according to an Apr. 8 post on The Audition's Facebook page.
The Audition formed in 2003 and were signed to Victory Records two years later, releasing four albums on the label before parting ways in 2010. Their new EP, entitled appropriately enough, "Chapter II," marks the group's first studio output since leaving Victory, and was self-produced through what the band describes as "an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign."
