New York's Electric Zoo nabs David Guetta, Axwell, Tiesto

The headliners and "phase-one" lineup for the fourth annual Electric Zoo, taking place in New York City's Randall Island Park over Labor Day Weekend (8/31-9/2), have been unveiled by promoter Made Event.

Billed as "New York's Electronic Music Festival," the event features over 100 acts from across the globe performing for all three days of the holiday weekend from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at four sites within the park. In addition to the Main Stage, there are three open-air tents known as Hilltop Arena, Riverside, and Sunday School Grove, as well as an array of food carts and art installations throughout the park.

David Guetta, Axwell, and Tiesto will headline the Main Stage for the three nights respectively. Group Therapy, A-Trak, Luciano's Vagabundos, and Boys Noize are some of the names receiving top billing on the other stages.

2011 marked the first year the Electric Zoo switched from a two-day to a three-day schedule. 85,000 fans attended what the New York Times described as a "good-natured festival (that) continues to offer a smart, varied crew of the best D.J.s and live dance acts in the world."
