Canadian alt-rockers Our Lady Peace -- Raine Maida (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jeremy Taggart (drums), Duncan Coutt (bass, backing vocals) and Steve Mazur (lead guitar, backing vocals) -- are currently touring behind their brand new album "Curve."

In an exclusive SoundSpike interview last month, Coutt spoke about the recording process for the band's eighth studio set: "'OK, if radio doesn't hear this ever, we're OK with that.' It's a very freeing experience, once you release that expectation. And it lets you go places creatively that perhaps you might have closed the door on because you might have thought it's not commercial enough or things like that in the past." This week the guys are on home turf. Tomorrow (4/10) they perform at The Wall in North Bay, Ontario, and Thursday (4/12) at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

SoundSpike photographer Gene Schilling was among the guests with permission to take photos at Our Lady Peace's concert in Detroit on Saturday (4/7) and here are some highlights. --View Larger Photos
