Dave Matthews Band, Tool to co-headline River's Edge fest

Dave Matthews Band, Tool and The Flaming Lips highlight the inaugural lineup of the new River's Edge Music Festival in Saint Paul, MN.

The two-day outdoor event will take place June 23 and 24 on Harriet Island, which sits just across the Mississippi River from the city.

Other acts currently signed up for the bill include Brand New, Polica, Motion City Soundtrack, Puscifer, Coheed & Cambria, Diplo and Scissor Sisters. A complete list of performers can be found below.

Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, April 13, with a two-day wristband going for $99. More info can be found at the event's website.

The new festival fills a gap in the city's summer entertainment calendar left by now-defunct Taste of Minnesota festival, a combination food and music event that collapsed under a sea of debts in 2010.
