Grace Potter & the Nocturnals prep for "The Lion" release
Vermont folk-rockers Grace Potter & the Nocturnals will take on a monthlong spring run comprised of theater gigs and festival appearances ahead of this summer's "The Lion The Beast The Beat."
The five-piece outfit kicks off the excursion with an April 12 concert in Vail, CO, followed by another 10 stops. The itinerary includes two performances at Indio, CA's Coachella Music & Arts Festival (4/14 and 4/21), as well as three New Orleans appearances surrounding a May 4 Jazzfest gig.
Ticket details for the spring outing are available now at the band's website.
Grace Potter & the Nocturnals will unveil their fourth studio album, "The Lion The Beast The Beat" July 12 via Hollywood Records. The forthcoming release, which follows their self-titled third album, was produced by Potter and Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Wilco) at the latter's studio, PLYRZ, in Santa Clarita, CA.
Fans can get a taste of the album with the lead single, "Never Go Back," which is currently streaming at Rolling Stone's website.
