In Pictures: The Creators Project in SF
While Austin hosted its 26th annual SXSW festival, San Francisco enjoyed an inaugural nod to the artistic process dubbed The Creators Project over the weekend (3/17-18). Self-described as "a global celebration of art and technology" the traveling event aims to support and unite artists from all around the world.
The multi-faceted festivities, organized by Intel and VICE, featured musicians, visual artists and technology experts. The music portion featured performances by The Antlers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Health, Squarepusher, Zola Jesus, Shabazz Palaces, Teen Daze and James Murphy ,among others. Previous Creators Project events have taken place in such places as Beijing, Sao Paulo, New York, Paris, Lyon and Seoul.
