Crosby, Stills & Nash pack their summer with tour dates
Legendary folk-rockers Crosby, Stills & Nash will be back on the road in a big way this summer, playing shows indoors and out from early June through late September.
The outing gets underway June 7 in Phiadelphia, and will make dozens of theater and amphitheater stops before wrapping up Sept. 29 in San Diego. Tickets for many dates go on sale this week, according to a press release; the band will donate $1 from each ticket sold on the tour to charity.
The trio will be backed on the outing by Todd Caldwell (organ), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao (drums), Kevin McCormick (bass) and James Raymond (keyboards).
CSN famously played their first-ever gig at the Woodstock Festival in 1969, and have been on-and-off partners ever since -- sometimes adding Neil Young to the mix. The group has been inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwrtiers Hall of Fame.
