The Grammy winner has unveiled road plans for his unplugged outing, which is set to kick off Sept. 4 in Vienna, VA, after a 13-city summer run that includes stops in North America and Europe. Currently, the acoustic portion of the tour is scheduled through October's performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, with additional dates expected to be announced, according to a press release.
Harper will cover select songs from the10 studio albums that span his career, which began in 1994 with his debut album, "Welcome to the Cruel World."
Harper's last record to date, 2011's "Give Till It's Gone," peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.
