The Roots, Bob Mould headline MOG's SXSW event, live webcast

Online music streaming service and community MOG will take part in SXSW festivities, helming their own MOG at the Mohawk, Presented by Intel event with The Roots and Bob Mould, among others.

Online music streaming service and community MOG will take part in SXSW festivities, helming their own MOG at the Mohawk, Presented by Intel event with The Roots and Bob Mould, among others.

The one-day music extravaganza takes place from noon-6 p.m. CT Saturday (3/17) at the Mohawk, in the heart of downtown Austin. The party, which is free and open to the public, will also be webcast live here on SoundSpike, Inspired by Intel and its new Ultrabook: Intel.com/Ultrabook. All ages welcome, and no RSVP is needed.

The Roots will headline the concert, which also includes Bob Mould performing Sugar's 1993 album "Copper Blue" in its entirety. Blitzen Trapper, Gary Clark Jr., Howlin Rain, The War on Drugs, Cloud Nothings, K.Flay, G-Side and The Silent Comedy are also on the roster.
