The Maine to helm upcoming "Pioneer World Tour"
Pop-punk outfit The Maine will set out on a colossal tour this spring and summer in support of their latest installment, "Pioneer."
Fresh off their lengthy European tour, The Maine are already gearing up to embark on "The Pioneer World Tour," a 58-city show that kicks off in the Philippines on March 31. The band will make several stops in Australia with Taking Back Sunday and New Found Glory in April before retuning to North America. The U.S. leg gets underway April 14 in Austin, TX. Highlights of the stateside run include a two-night stand in New York City, a stop at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey and a visit to the band's hometown of Tempe, AZ, in June. The tour wraps up Aug. 27 in South America.

"Pioneer," the band's third studio album, was released in December of 2011. It peaked at No. 90 on the Billboard 200 and No. 6 on the Top Independent Albums chart.
The Maine comprises members John O'Callaghan (lead vocals), Kennedy Brock (guitar), Jared Monaco (guitar), Garrett Nickelsen (bass) and Pat Kirch (drums).
