Few have more to be happy about right now than the members of Van Halen. Frontman David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen (guitar) Alex Van Halen (drums) and bassist Wolfgang Van Halen (Eddie's son) kicked off the band's "A Different Kind of Truth," tour last month (2/18) with many dates already sold out well in advance.
The album "A Different Kind of Truth" dropped about a week prior to the road trip and it is Van Halen's first studio set since Roth re-joined the group in '06. The current itinerary spans five months and is slated to visit arenas across North America through June 26 for a finale in New Orleans. Fans can catch the guys tonight in (3/5) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
