Kenny Chesney readies new album as tour with Tim McGraw nears

Fans will be able to get their hands on a new studio album from Kenny Chesney shortly after his upcoming stadium tour with fellow country superstar Tim McGraw gets underway this June.
The as-yet-untitled album is set for release by BNA records on June 19, and is Chesney's follow-up to 2010's "Hemmingway's Whiskey," which topped The Billboard 200 album chart.
Chesney has sold more than 30 million albums over the course of his career and has logged 22 No. 1 singles on the country chart. He leads the field with nine Academy of Country Music Awards nominations this year, including Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year.
Chesney and McGraw open their "Brothers of the Sun Tour" on June 2 in Tampa, FL. The tour, which is booked into 19 football stadiums across the country, will also feature Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and Jake Owen.
