Chris Brown might appear on new Rihanna remix

Although no one's confirming it just yet, the pop world is buzzing about the possibility that Chris Brown will be appearing on ex-girlfriend Rihanna's forthcoming remix of her "Birthday Cake" single.
The rumor was apparently first floated on music site Missinfo.tv, which reported that the "Talk That Talk" singer and theex who was convicted of assaulting her were seen leaving the same West Hollywood recording studio separately. The site's "independent sources" confirmed the collaboration, and the song's co-producers, Tuo and Kosine of Da Internz, told MTV News to expect a surprise guest on the track that would "shock the world."
"It's gonna be crazy," Tuo said. "And the feature on there is gonna shock the world," Kosine added.
Fans may have to wait a while to find out if the rumors are true: Missinfo.TV is claiming that Rihanna is being pressured to shelf the remix in the wake of the controversy created by anything Brown-related at the moment.
In addition to his recent message to detractors on Twitter, Brown also denied a rumor making the rounds yesterday that he had propositioned a woman last week by promising that "I won't beat you up."
"That is absurd and absolutely not true," Brown said in a statement to TMZ. "I did not say that nor would I joke about that."
