Bruce Springsteen turns to Clarence Clemons' nephew on sax

Though Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will certainly feel the loss of longtime linchpin Clarence Clemons on their upcoming tour, the sting will be slightly allayed by the presence of Clemons' nephew on sax.
Springsteen's camp has announced that the late Clemons' nephew Jake Clemons will join the tour to play sax, along with Asbury Jukes member (and frequent Springsteen collaborator) Eddie "Kingfish" Manion.
Filling out the horn section will be trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm, who have toured previously with Springsteen, and trumpeter Barry Danielian, who's new to the group. Backup singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King will also return to the fold.
The Boss and crew will kick off the U.S. portion of their upcoming tour -- the band's first since Clarence Clemons died last year -- with a March 18 performance in Atlanta, followed by 15 more major-market arena stops. Another round of shows is expected this fall, following a European tour.
A new Springsteen album titled "Wrecking Ball" is due out on March 6.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are scheduled to perform during Sunday's Grammy Awards telecast, which will air on the CBS network.
