Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum top ACM nominations

Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum lead the nomination pack for this year's Academy of Country Music Awards, which will accept fan input leading up to the April 1 ceremony.
Chesney is in the running for Entertainer of the Year, which he has won four times already, as well as eight other categories, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for "You and Tequila" with Grace Potter.
Aldean will vie for the titles of Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year as well, along with four other awards surrounding his chart-topping 2010 album, "My Kinda Party."
Country trio Lady Antebellum is at the top of the heap when it comes to group nominations, with five nods, including Vocal Group of the Year and Album of the Year, as well as Song of the Year and Video of the Year, both for "Just a Kiss."
Taylor Swift, who earned the most nominations (three) of any female artist, is the only woman in the running for Entertainer of the Year.
The 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards will take place April 1 at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event, which will be co-hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton for the second consecutive year.
Fans will determine winners in the categories of Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year. Nominees for the latter group will be announced next month since fan voting for those semi-finalists runs through Jan. 30 at the event's website.
