The Doors release new song with L.A. Woman reissue - listen here

The upcoming reissue of The Doors' "L.A. Woman" album features the first completely new studio track to surface from the iconic band in more than 40 years.

The song, titled "She Smells So Nice," turned up when "L.A. Woman" co-producer Bruce Botnick was going through the album's session tapes during the remastering process. The song was released via The Doors' Facebook page this week and can be streamed below.

Frontman Jim Morrison's vocals are rough on the loose, spirited track, which features the bluesy sound that dominates "L.A. Woman," the band's last album with Morrison behind the mic.

A Jan. 24 release date has been set for the "L.A. Woman" reissue, which will feature eight previously unheard versions of songs that appear on the album.
