Paul Van Dyk brings "Evolution" to North America
German DJ Paul Van Dyk will precede the March release of his latest album with a handful of major market shows next month in the U.S.
The Grammy-nominated artist will return stateside for four big-city shows: Feb. 8 in Chicago, Feb. 9 in New York City, Feb. 10 in San Francisco and Feb. 11 in Los Angeles. Tickets for all dates are available now; details are available at the artist's website.
"Evolution," Van Dyk's sixth studio effort, will hit retailers March 20 via his own label, Vandit Records. The 15-song disc includes the single "Eternity," which features Van Dyk's collaboration with Owl City frontman Adam Young.
The impending album follows Van Dyk's 2007 release, "In Between," which peaked at No. 115 on The Billboard 200 and at No. 2 on the magazine's Top Electronic Albums and Top Heatseekers charts.
On Jan. 30, Van Dyk will take part in the first edition of midem Visionary Monday in Cannes, France, according to a press release. The conference features discussions including how artists can optimize digital innovation and how to build brand loyalty with music.
