O.A.R. keeps pushing "King" across North America
After taking a short hiatus over the holidays, rock quintet O.A.R. will return to the road later this month for another round of club and theater shows behind their recently released album, "King."
The outfit, comprised of Marc Roberge (vocals, guitar), Chris Culos (drums), Richard On (guitar), Benj Gershman (bass) and Jerry DePizzo (sax, guitar, percussion), kicks off the latest leg with a Jan. 25 concert in Tempe, AZ. The band will venture through 17 major markets before finishing up the trek with multiple-night appearances in Washington, DC (2/28-2/29), New York City (3/6-3/10) and Philadelphia (3/15-18).
Tickets are on sale now; details are posted at the band's website.
O.A.R. released "King," the group's seventh studio set, in August via Wind-Up Records. The effort, which peaked at No. 12 on The Billboard 200 and at No. 2 on the magazine's Top Rock Albums chart, follows the 2008 set, "All Sides."
Fans can stream O.A.R.'s latest album and catch the video for the lead single,"Heaven," now at the O.A.R. website.
