LMFAO's Canadian tour sunk by excessive "wiggling"

Canadians in three cities will need to wait at least a couple of months before seeing "Party Rock Anthem" architects LMFAO in concert again.

SkyBlu, half of the duo, has three herniated discs in his back, which his bandmate, Redfoo, said he suffered while doing his "wiggle dance."

As a result, LMFAO called off last night's (12/20) planned show at Calgary's Stampde Corral, tonight's (12/21) appearance at Rexall Place in Edmonton and Friday's (12/23) scheduled gig at Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum. According to promoter Live Nation, the shows will be rescheduled for sometime in February.

"He hurt his back wiggling," SkyBlu said Monday (12/19) on ABC-TV's "Good Morning America." "When you wiggle you've got to balance out, and the muscles in his back [gave way]."

In a statement, SkyBlu said: "First off I would like to apologize to our fans. I am disappointed that I'm unable to come see everyone and perform. Unfortunately, I need to take this time to get healthy and get my wiggle back."

SkyBlu performed one show in a mobility chair, but a doctor then ordered him to cease performing entirely and undergo a full month of rehabilitation, according to a press release.
