Goldenvoice celebrates 30 years with X, Social Disortion, Bad Religion, more

Concert promoter Goldenvoice is celebrating its 30th anniversary by throwing a Southern California bash featuring several of the key acts from the company's formative years.
The three shows, presented by Los Angeles radio station KROQ, are set for Dec. 16-18 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The Friday show will feature Social Distortion, X and Adolescents, while Saturday's event will feature Bad Religion, Youth Brigade and T.S.O.L. Sunday's lineup includes Descendents, The Vandals and The Dickies.
"The artists and line-up for these special shows were chosen to reflect the bands that embraced and were instrumental in building Goldenvoice from day 1," said a statement posted on the Goldenvoice Facebook page. "Like us, they had just the right screws loose. Because of their support past and present, Goldenvoice was able to flourish and become a part of the Southern California music scene. These bands took a chance on us 30 years ago, and continue to be a big part of what we do today. We are excited for them to help us honor our first 30 years!"
Tickets for all three dates hit the market Saturday (11/5) at noon PT.
