Keller Williams takes his many musical personas on the road

Multifaceted musician Keller Williams has announced fall tour dates, end of year plans and a new album due out in December.
The Virginia native, also known as K-Dub or just Keller, will be out on tour in several of his various incarnations through the rest of the year, including his newest collaboration, The Travelin' McCourys Featuring Keller Williams, which debuts Oct. 21 at the Magnolia Music Festival and hits the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans along with two other stops over the course of the week.
Also announced was a New Year's run beginning Dec. 28 in Raleigh, NC, followed on Dec. 29 and 30 by a pair of shows in Virginia. All three evenings will feature Williams on stage for one solo set, an additional set with his project Kdubalicious, plus special guests the Pimps of Joytime. For New Year's Eve, Keller & The Keels will ring in 2012 at Brooklyn Performing Arts Center in Wilmington, NC. All four venues will also host a "Keller Plays for Kids" matinee performance earlier in the day. There will be several other special kids' performances throughout the tour; information is posted at Williams' website.
December will also see the release of "Bass," Williams' 17th overall recording, and the first on which he exclusively plays bass. "Bass" was made with the line-up of Kdubalicious, which features Williams on bass, Jay Starling on keyboards and Mark D on drums.
