Dave Matthews Band Caravan sets new dates for NYC event

Dave Matthews Band Caravan has rescheduled its three-day New York City festival after postponing the event due to Hurricane Irene.
The music extravaganza, created and headlined by Dave Matthews Band, will now take place Sept. 16-18 at New York City's Randall's Island. The festival was originally slated for Aug. 26-28 at Governor's Island.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, and more tickets will go on sale Saturday (9/3) via the event's website.
Along with the festival's namesake, Dispatch has been confirmed for the new set of dates, and the remaining roster will be announced soon, according to a press release.
Dave Matthews Band Caravan is setting up shop in George, WA, this weekend (9/2-4), with acts such as Gogol Bordello, The Roots and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros scheduled to perform. Fans can watch the entire Labor Day festival via live webcast at the DMB Caravan website.
