Adele, Lady Gaga, Beyonce make waves at MTV Video Music Awards

Though Beyonce stole the show will her casual belly rub announcing her pregnancy with Jay-Z, Adele, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Kanye West officially took home top honors at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Songstress Adele took home the most awards with four moonmen handed to her for Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction for her hit single, "Rolling in the Deep."
Katy Perry and Kanye West received two awards each for Video of the Year and Best Special Effects for their collaborative track, "E.T."
Lady Gaga also left with two awards -- down from last year's eight -- for Best Female Video and the brand new category, Best Video With a Message, both for "Born This Way."
Though Beyonce snagged the Best Choreography award for her single "Run the World (Girls)," she got more attention for her subtle acknowledgement of her pregnancy with her husband of three years, Jay-Z. No word yet on when the baby is due.
The expectant couple performed separately during the VMAs -- Jay-Z and Kanye West took the stage for "Otis," while Beyonce performed "Love On Top."
