The Avett Brothers to unleash new record, Sublime with Rome prepare summer tour
The Avett Brothers will deliver its ninth album, "True Sadness," to fans in June -- right in the middle of a spring and summer outing.
The folk-rockers kick off their tour plans with an April 7 show in Wilmington, NC, and continue through mid-September performances in Del Mar, CA.
The Avett Brothers' forthcoming collection -- the group's fourth consecutive set to be produced by Rick Rubin -- is inspired by a variety of acts ranging from Queen to Nine Inch Nails to Gillian Welch.
Sublime with Rome has planned a 29-date tour that crisscrosses the U.S.
The outing gets underway June 25 in Las Vegas and closes with a trifecta of August dates co-headlining with 311 in Texas. Select dates on the summer road trip will feature specials guests Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, Matisyahu, New Kingston and Bleeker.
Sublime is continuing to support their second studio album, "Sirens," which surfaced in July 2015.
