String Cheese Incident readies for road work, Beatles' producer George Martin has died
String Cheese Incident have mapped a summer excursion that will follow up their "March Madness Tour."
The itinerary features stops in 20 major markets, including two-night stands in Asheville, NC (7/1-7/2), and Atlanta, GA (7/3-7/4).
Sir George Martin, who produced nearly all of The Beatles' songs, died Tuesday (3/8) at age 90.
After the news broke, The Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr tweeted "Thank you for all your love and kindness George peace and love"
Martin was more than a knob-turner to the iconic British band. He was behind more than 23 of the band's No. 1 hits. As a former arranger, Martin suggested the addition of strings to "Yesterday." He also conducted the string section in "Eleanor Rigby" and played piano on "In My Life."
