Dixie Chicks put albums on vinyl, 311 returns to the road
Preparing to make their return to the stage, the Dixie Chicks are celebrating their summer plans by releasing four albums vinyl.
"Wide Open Spaces" (1998), "Fly" (1999), "Home" (2002) and "Taking the Long Way" (2006) will become available on 150-gram, 12-inch vinyl as of April 15 -- a day before Record Store Day.
April 16 also marks the start of the trio's "DCX MMXVI World Tour" in Antwerp, Belgium. Their first world tour in a decade will wrap up in Los Angeles in October.
311 will take to the road this summer for a road trip that will also feature Matisyahu.
"The Unity Tour" begins with two nights (6/29-30) at Salt Lake City's The Depot and continues through an Aug. 14 performance in San Francisco.
The alt-rock outfit will also celebrate "311 Day" (3/11) with a two-night stand (3/11-12) in New Orleans, LA.
