AC/DC reschedules dates, Dolly Parton mounts major tour
AC/DC has postponed 10 U.S. stops on its impending "Rock or Bust World Tour" after frontman Brian Johnson was told to cease all touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.
Shows originally scheduled from March 8 (Atlanta, GA) through April 4 (New York City) will be rescheduled "likely with a guest vocalist," according to a press release.
According to a press release, the shows will be rescheduled later in the year, most likely with a guest vocalist. Details about the new dates will be announced soon, and fans are being asked to hold onto tickets.
Dolly Parton has set her sights on a large North American tour to push an impending double album.
The legendary country singer will visit more than 60 major markets on her first big North American trek in 25 years; dates and cities will be unveiled soon.
The outing will coincide with the release of her forthcoming double-disc set entitled "Pure & Simple With Dolly's Biggest Hits." A drop date has not yet been announced.
