Violent Femmes unveil North American dates, Boston celebrates 40th anniversary
Violent Femmes have plotted a West Coast jaunt to support their forthcoming album, "We Can Do Anything." due to hit stores March 4.
The alt-rockers begin with a May 2 stop in Salt Lake City, followed by another 11 markets. The trek, which wraps up May 19 in Missoula, MT, includes a two-night stand May 10-11 in San Francisco.
Boston will celebrate its 40th anniversary on the road this spring and summer.
The established rockers, who released their chart-topping, self-titled debut in 1976, will start the celebration run with an April 29 in Hollywood, FL. The 15-city tour will conclude Aug. 11 in Uncasville, CT.
