Taylor Swift donates to Ke$ha's court battle, Steely Dan announce trek
Taylor Swift has shown her support for fellow artist Kesha (formerly known as Ke$ha), who's in the middle of a court battle with producer Dr. Luke.
Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha after a New York judge denied her the right to record for a label other than Sony Music. A Swift spokesperson said the money will help defray Kesha's financial losses. Kesha has said that her producer, Dr. Luke, raped her. He denied the allegations in a Feb. 22 statement.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are bringing Steely Dan back to the road with "The Dan Who Knew Too Much Tour" this spring and summer.
The spring leg of the trek begins with two performances April 18-19 in Port Chester, NY, and ends with an April 30 concert in Atlantic City, NJ.
Steve Winwood will join for the summer portion, which kicks off June 7 in Cincinnati, OH, and wraps July 13 in Virginia Beach, VA.
