Chris Robinson Brotherhood keeps tour rolling through fall
Currently tearing up the tracks on a cross-country summer trek that runs through Labor Day weekend , the Chris Robinson Brotherhood has just announced the dates for an extensive fall tour to follow.
The autumn jaunt of 41 stops kicks off Sept. 25 at the Ventura Hillsides Music Festival in Ventura, CA, and continues into the American heartland and East Coast up until Thanksgiving. Robinson and company close out the tour in December with a series of West Coast shows, culminating in four straight nights at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
Chris Robinson is best known as the lead singer of the Black Crowes, whose vintage hard-rock sound catapulted the outfit to sudden fame in the early 1990s. As of last month, the Black Crowes are on indefinite hiatus, allowing Robinson to focus full-time on the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, which is rounded out by Neal Casal on guitar, Adam MacDougall on keyboards, George Sluppick on drums and Mark "Muddy" Dutton on bass.
