Rascal Flatts cancel three northwest concerts due to illness
Rascal Flatts have cancelled three appearances on their in-progress "Rewind" outing in response to singer Gary LaVox's unexpected illness.
The country act was slated to perform in Nampa, ID, Thursday (8/7); as well as Airway Heights, WA, on Friday (8/8); and Mission, British Columbia, at the Rockin' River Music Festival on Saturday (8/9). All three of those performances have been cancelled.
Ticketholders are asked to contact the point of purchase for refund information.
"It is incredibly difficult to make the decision to cancel shows and disappoint our loyal fans who have been so good to us over the years," bassist Jay DeMarcus released in a statement. "The schedule of shows this past weekend, coupled with media days in New York City, have left him without a voice. We promise to return as soon as we can and give our fans the best show possible!"
The chart-topping outfit is slated to reconvene on the road Aug. 15 in Phoenix, AZ. Another 13 shows follow, concluding Sept. 21 in Clarkston, MI.
