Weekend Ticketing: Foster the People, Colbie Caillat, Jack White, more
With summer's official arrival, a slew of artists are rolling out arena and theater treks. Some of the season's hottest tickets go on sale this weekend, including seats for Foster the People, Colbie Caillat, Jack White, Brad Paisley and several others.
Foster the People Indie-rockers Foster the People will spend the summer touring Europe before returning stateside for an early fall leg, tickets for which are on sale now. The extensive North American leg includes stops in Morrison, CO (8/6); Pittsburgh, PA (9/8); Orlando, FL (10/18); and Los Angeles (11/14).
Colbie Caillat Singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat has unleashed a U.S. tour in support of her recently released "Gypsy Heart (Side A)." Tickets for shows in Huntington, NY (9/3); Niagara Falls, NY (9/6); and San Diego, CA (9/28); are on sale now, along with five other major markets.
Jack White has a summer schedule full of U.S. theater shows behind the recent June release of "Lazaretto," his second solo set. The domestic run hits major markets from coast to coast, but shows in three markets are on sale today: Jacksonville, FL (9/20); Miami Beach, FL (9/21-9/22); and Columbia, SC (9/24).
Brad Paisley is taking his "Country Nation World Tour" across the continent, and fans in several markets can now purchase tickets. On-sales began today (6/27) for Austin, TX (9/4); Dallas, TX (9/5); The Woodlands, TX (9/6); and Virginia Beach, VA (9/18).
Pop superstar Lorde will spend some time touring North America later this summer. The New Zealand native is touring in support of her platinum-selling "Pure Heroine," and tickets are on sale now for the second night (10/3) at Berkeley, CA's Greek Theatre.
Rock icons ZZ Top have a handful of tour stops on the itinerary this summer and fall. Fans can now purchase tickets for two dates: Oct. 19 in Kingston, NY, and Oct. 29 in Montgomery, AL.
English singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has a round of U.S. performances slated for late summer, all behind his second album, "x" (pronounced "multiply"). On-sales began today (6/27) for concerts in Charlotte, NC (9/11), and Nashville, TN (9/13).
