Pearl Jam tackles Disney hit single "Let It Go" during Milan performance
Pearl Jam, currently in the midst of a European trek, added the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go" from the Disney film "Frozen" to the setlist Friday (6/20) in Milan, Italy.
The alt-rock outfit, helmed by Eddie Vedder, mixed the ubiquitous ballad into its hit song, "Daughter," from the band's 1993 album, "Vs."
In March, "Let It Go" won an Oscar for Best Original Song. Watch the video of the Pearl Jam/Frozen mashup via YouTube.
Pearl Jam continue the European run Wednesday (6/25) in Vienna, Austria, and finish up in mid-July.
A 10-city U.S. leg will take off Oct. 1 in Cincinnati, OH, and extend through an Oct. 22 show in Denver, CO.
Pearl Jam most recently dropped "Lightning Bolt," the group's 10th studio effort, on their own Monkeywrench Records label. The 12-track set surfaced last October and peaked at the top of The Billboard 200 and at No. 2 on the U.K. Albums chart.
