Beyonce, Jay-Z tack a couple more performances onto "On the Run" trek
Since last check, the wedded pair has added second nights in Pasadena, CA (8/2-8/3), and San Francisco, CA (8/5-8/6). The road trip gets underway June 25 in Miami Gardens, FL, ventures through 14 major markets before finishing up in San Francisco Aug. 6.
Earlier this week, the two released a trailer for a fake movie titled "Run." The nearly four-minute video features an array of special guests, including Don Cheadle, Blake Lively, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Penn, Emmy Rossum and Rashida Jones.
Beyonce unexpectedly dropped her eponymous fifth album last December. The audio/visual mix, which sold more than 825,000 copies worldwide in three days, became the fastest-selling album in iTunes history.
Jay Z's most recent collection, "Magna Carta Holy Grail," surfaced last July and marked his 12th studio release. The album, which features guest appearances by Frank Ocean, Nas, Justin Timberlake and Rick Ross, topped The Billboard 200, as well as the magazine's Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums and Top Tastemaker Albums charts.
