Paul McCartney reschedules Chilean show, unleashes more U.S. stops
Paul McCartney rescheduled a Chilean show on his international "Out There" itinerary, which now includes a few more stops on the North American summer run.
The iconic Beatle had to move the Monday (4/21) performance in Santiago, Chile, to Wednesday (4/23) after the plane carrying his equipment didn't touch down in the South American city in time for the initial showtime.
McCartney's "Out There" run finishes up in South America early next month and then makes a quick swing through Asia before hitting North America.
Since last check, another six U.S. concerts have been tacked on to the calendar, beginning with a July 9 arena show in Chicago, IL, and finishing up Aug. 14 in San Francisco, CA.
McCartney continues promoting his 16th studio effort, "New," which surfaced last October. The Virgin EMI Records release peaked at No. 3 on both The Billboard 200 and the U.K. Albums chart.
