Rock legend Paul McCartney has added more U.S. stops to his impending summer run, including a tour kick-off in Lubbock, TX, in honor of the late Buddy Holly.

The "Out There" tour will first complete South American and Asian portions before returning to the U.S. for the June 14 start in Lubbock, TX. Since last check, performances have been added in Dallas, TX (6/16); Atlanta, GA (6/21); Jacksonville, FL (6/22); Nashville, TN (6/25); and the itinerary's conclusion Aug. 7 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Tickets for the newly announced stops go on sale April 25.

McCartney is promoting his 16th studio effort, "New," which surfaced last October. The Virgin EMI Records release peaked at No. 3 on both The Billboard 200 and the U.K. Albums chart.
