Beck plots outing behind "Morning Phase"
Beck has unfurled the first round of North American concert dates this summer supporting his brand-new album, "Morning Phase."
The prolific alt-rocker will first hit a handful of spring theater shows and festival appearances, including gigs at Coachella (4/13, 4/20) and Edgefest (4/26) in Dallas, TX. The summer portion gets underway June 19 in Cleveland, OH, and visits 10 major markets through late July. More dates are expected to be announced in the near future, according to a press release.
Beck released "Morning Phase," his 12th studio effort, in February via Capitol Records. That album, his first since 2008's "Modern Guilt," debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200, trailing 2005's "Guero" as his second highest-charting album to date.
Last week (3/12), Beck performed the single "Waking Light" on Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" with special guest Father John Misty. He's also slated to appear on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" April 1.
