Garth Brooks joined Oprah Winfrey and Billy Crystal on Thursday (2/6) for an emotional goodbye to Jay Leno as host of the "Tonight Show." Brooks called Leno "the greatest friend to entertainment" before easing into his 1990 hit, "The Dance."

In introducing Brooks, Leno noted that an additional two shows at Dublin's Croke Park stadium were put on sale this weekly and promptly sold out, bringing his total shows in the country to five.

The ticket volume on those five shows is a staggering 400,000. Brooks hasn't formally toured since announcing a semi-retirement in 2001 to stay at home while his children made their way through grade and high school.
