Phish will reconvene this spring after various members' solo projects for their first New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival appearance in 18 years.

The iconic jam band, helmed by Trey Anastasio, is set to headline the first Saturday evening (4/26) of the two-week festival. The improvisational outfit will follow performances earlier in the day by Robin Thicke, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Boz Scaggs, Keb' Mo' and Anders Osborne, among others.

Like those who made it to Phish's annual Halloween performance, Jazz Fest attendees may be treated to songs from the group's forthcoming new album, tentatively titled "Wingsuit." No word yet on when that collection will hit retailers.

The late-April Jazz Fest performance follows a tour by Anastasio's namesake band and a club run by bassist Mike Gordon, who will release his fourth studio set entitled "Overstep" February 25.

Single-day tickets and weekend passes for the 45th annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival are still available via Ticketmaster.
