Jennifer Nettles preps for "That Girl" solo release, subsequent run
Country songstress and Sugarland frontwoman Jennifer Nettles will take to the road this winter for a U.S. trek behind her solo debut, "That Girl."
The "That Girl" tour will kick off Feb. 14 in Washington, D.C., and work its ways westward across the nation through the summer months. So far, 13 dates are on Nettles' itinerary, including an April 26 appearance at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA, and a July 18 set at Country Jam USA in Eau Claire, WI.
Nettles will unleash "That Girl" Jan. 14 via Mercury Nashville. The effort, which was produced by Rick Rubin at his Malibu, CA, Shangri-la Studios, includes collaborations with Sara Bareilles, Butch Walker and Richard Marx, among others.
Nettles is one-half of the Grammy-winning country pair Sugarland. The duo most recently unveiled "The Incredible Machine," in 2010.
