Lorde plots first U.S. tour in support of "Pure Heroine"
Teenage breakout songstress Lorde will unleash her inaugural North American tour in the coming months, all behind her studio debut, "Pure Heroine."
The New Zealand performer will handle an array of Australian dates in late January and early February before heading to the States for the trek's March 3 kick-off in Austin, TX. The 15-city journey crisscrosses the nation over about three weeks before concluding March 26 in Oakland, CA.
Lorde unveiled her debut album, "Pure Heroine," in late September via Universal. The collection peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the charts in both Australia and New Zealand. The effort's lead single, "Royals," has been downloaded nearly 3 million times.
The Grammy-nominated artist took to Reddit Sunday (12/15), answering questions posted by readers. In the Q&A session, Lorde answered "YES!" when asked if she'd be hitting the festival circuit in 2014. Read more of her Reddit session here.
