Iconic singer/songwriter James Taylor has big plans for 2014, with a couple East Coast shows, a run on the Queen Mary 2 and an extensive summertime U.K. trek.

Taylor has committed to his annual July 3-4 shows at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA. Then, nearly two months later, the legendary artist will climb aboard the England-bound Queen Mary 2 and tackle a couple of performances on the eight-day sail (8/27-9/4).

Taylor's U.K. tour kicks off Sept. 5 in Plymouth, United Kingdom, and includes 12 stops across that country.

Taylor refrained from touring in 2013 in order to work on a new album, according to a January 2013 interview Rolling Stone magazine. No word yet on if and when a new collection may surface, but whatever comes will be Taylor's first new material since 2002's "October Road."
