Datsik works road with GZA before taking on own "Digital Assassins" run
Dubstep producer/DJ Datsik will follow up a trio of co-headlining dates with Wu-Tang Clan's GZA with his own "Digital Assassins" headlining trek.
The British Columbia native, born Troy Beetles, will first handle a couple of late December holiday shows before the three gigs alongside GZA. Those concerts will take place Jan. 16 in Philadelphia, Jan. 17 in Boston and Jan. 18 in New York City.
After just a few days' break, Datsik will then kick off the "Digital Assassins" tour Jan. 22 in Charlottesville, VA. That DJ journey will hit eight East Coast major markets, concluding Feb. 1 in Wallingford, CT. Herobust and Getter will handle support duties on this run.
"Super excited to hit the road again for this crazy tour, especially having a Wu-Tang member on board this time around!," Datsik said in a press release. "It's an absolute honor to be playing a few shows with the dudes I grew up listening to."
Datsik is hitting the tour trail in support of his latest 10-track effort, "Let it Burn," which features collaborations with Getter and Bais Haus, as well as singers Georgia Murray and Zyme.
