Casting Crowns, other artists sign on for third annual "The Story Tour"

For the third consecutive year, Casting Crowns and several other Christian performers will tour the nation on "The Story Tour 2013."

Steven Curtis Chapman, Natalie Grant, Matthew West, Nichole Nordeman, Selah and Rawsrvnt will join Casting Crowns on the road trip, which began last Friday (11/29) in Nashville, TN, and continues tonight (12/2) in Tulsa, OK. Another 11 arena shows follow, finishing up Dec. 15 in Hershey, PA.

"The Story Tour 2013," which gives concertgoers a multimedia experience of the Bible, will also feature special guest author Randy Frazee and musical director Bernie Herms, as well as a full orchestra and a children's choir.

Casting Crowns has more shows on the books in 2014, beginning Feb. 20 in Lexington, KY. That run, which currently features five stops spread across the eastern U.S., will support the band's impending mid-February release, "Thrive."
