Lady Gaga to help shut down New York City's Roseland Ballroom
Just a few days after serving as host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live," global superstar Lady Gaga has announced plans to close out New York City's Roseland Ballroom early next year.
Gaga will perform four concerts at her hometown venue -- March 28, March 30-31 and April 2 -- after which it will close its doors. Tickets go on sale Nov. 25.
The multiple Grammy winner's schedule also includes a Dec. 8 concert in London and a Jan. 26 performance at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala in Los Angeles.
Gaga unleashed her fifth studio effort, "Artpop," Nov. 6 via Interscope Records. The chart-topping album, which features the Top 10 single "Applause" and the R. Kelly collaboration "Do What U Want," has already received platinum certification.
