Billy Joel adds a trio of additional Florida shows to January run
Piano man Billy Joel has tacked a few Florida shows onto his impending schedule of U.S. performances.
Since last check, the iconic musician has added three more concerts to the itinerary, including a second night (1/11) in Sunrise, FL, along with shows in Tampa Bay (1/17) and Jacksonville (1/22).
Joel, who will receive Kennedy Center Honors next month, is also slated to ring in the New Year (12/31) with an arena show in Brooklyn, NY.
Joel most recently unveiled "Fantasies & Delusions," his first collection of classical compositions, in 2008. That album, which landed at No. 83 on The Billboard 200, followed his chart-topping 12th album, 1993's "River of Dreams."
Joel is one of the highest grossing touring artists of the world and has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide. The musician has received six Grammys, as well as the Grammy Legend Award, along with inductions into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
